This notice identifies the operator of the Nmjoy marketplace and gives the information that the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 require us to publish.

3. Grievance Officer

Our Grievance Officer, named in section 2, receives complaints about content on the marketplace, about our services, and about the handling of personal data. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt, as rule 3(2) of the IT Rules 2021 requires. The Grievance Officer is also our contact for requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

4. Regulatory information

Where Nmjoy holds a GST registration, a Corporate Identity Number or a PAN it chooses to publish, those details appear in section 1 above. Nmjoy is the merchant of record for every sale on the marketplace: it contracts with the buyer, issues the invoice and accounts for GST where applicable. Each seller's store page shows the store name and description. Questions about a product go to the seller through the product question-and-answer feature; disputes about a purchase go to support@nmjoy.com.

5. Dispute resolution

Consumers may approach the District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, or the National Consumer Helpline, in addition to our own complaints process. We do not participate in any private arbitration or mediation scheme beyond what the law requires. Nothing here limits your right to go to court.

6. Liability for content

The products, store pages, reviews, questions and answers on the marketplace are supplied by independent sellers and users, who are responsible for them. We host that content as an intermediary under section 79 of the Information Technology Act 2000 and do not review every item before it is published. When we receive a notice that content is unlawful or infringes someone's rights, we act as described in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy and our Content Policy. Use the report form on any item, or email copyright@nmjoy.com for intellectual property matters and the Grievance Officer for other unlawful content.

7. Trademarks

Nmjoy and the Nmjoy logo are trademarks of Nmjoy. Product names, brands and logos shown in listings belong to their respective owners, and their appearance on the marketplace does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with them.
